COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP QUESTIONNAIRE

The purpose of this questionnaire is to identify community organizations to conduct outreach and facilitate community meetings for the Vote Center Placement Project (VCPP). The purpose of these meetings is to engage the public in the selection of Los Angeles County new vote centers, which will be implemented in 2020. Vote Centers will replace traditional polling places. Vote Centers are a critical part of Los Angeles County’s new voter experience. Voters will be able to vote at any vote center throughout the County over a period of eleven days.

Selected organizations should provide services that span issues, stakeholder groups and geographic regions. Organizations should have experience conducting large-scale outreach. facilitating large-scale meetings and be highly experienced working with local communities or stakeholder groups.

Selected partners will be expected to:

  • - Conduct public outreach
  • - Select venues and arrange logistics
  • - Venue set-up and break down at meetings
  • - Customize graphic templates
  • - Facilitating meetings
  • - Record meeting notes and/or outcomes, sign-in sheets, photos and other summary materials

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) will provide a stipend (of up to $2,000 per meeting) to cover meeting expenses.
